Shri Davara University proudly hosted a one-day National Conference on “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Global Challenges” on 2nd May 2026. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Commerce & Management in hybrid mode, bringing together academicians, researchers, industry experts, and students from across the country.
The event was conducted under the visionary guidance of the Honorable CEO and Director General, whose leadership played a pivotal role in making the conference a grand success. The presence of distinguished guests further elevated the significance of the program.
The primary objective of the conference was to create a collaborative platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on pressing global challenges. Key themes discussed during the sessions included Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, Public Health, Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies, Human Resource Management in the Digital Era, Financial Inclusion, Rural Development, Social Justice, and Education Policy.
The conference witnessed insightful deliberations, research paper presentations, and meaningful academic interactions. Participants actively engaged in discussions, contributing innovative ideas and perspectives toward sustainable solutions for contemporary global issues.
A special note of appreciation goes to Prof. Manisha Pandey for her exemplary leadership, dedication, and tireless efforts in successfully coordinating the event. The contributions of faculty members including Dr. Anita Bhoi, Ms. Sushobhita Singh, Dr. Shyamli Naidu, Ms. Parvati Nair, Ms. Vijaya Vaishnav, Dr. Shubham Yadav, and Mr. Yagvendra Singh were highly commendable.
The guidance and support of Pro-Vice Chancellor Mr. Varun Ganjir and Deputy Registrar Mr. Vipin Srivastava were instrumental in the seamless execution of the conference. Technical arrangements were efficiently managed by Mr. Nitesh Singh, while the event was gracefully anchored by Ms. Bushra.
The success of the conference was further strengthened by the dedicated efforts of organizing teams, support staff, and volunteers including Mr. Dhannu & team, Mr. Omkar & team, Mr. Raj Bharti, reception staff, supervisors, and other supporting members. The Faculty of Science and Fashion Department also extended valuable support.
Students played an equally significant role, demonstrating discipline, enthusiasm, and commitment throughout the event. Their active participation added vibrancy and energy to the conference.
Selected research papers presented during the conference will be published in ISBN-indexed proceedings, and outstanding contributions will be recognized with awards.
