Shri Davara University successfully organized an Educational and Industrial Visit to the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Raipur, providing students with valuable exposure to modern industrial practices and advanced manufacturing technologies. A total of 86 students and 5 faculty members participated in the visit.
The programme was conducted under the visionary guidance and leadership of the Respected CEO Sir, Respected Director General Ma’am, Respected Honorary Director Sir, Respected Registrar Sir, Respected Pro Vice-Chancellor & Chief Controller of Examinations Sir, Respected Dean Academics, Dean – Faculty of Science (Dean, Research & Innovation), Dean – Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and Dean – Faculty of Commerce & Management.
During the visit, Mr. Sunil and the expert team at CIPET introduced students to the latest developments in Plastic and Polymer Engineering, offering practical insights into modern industrial manufacturing processes. Students observed various technologies, including Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Extrusion, CNC Machining, CAD/CAM Design, Tool Room Operations, Product Design, and Quality Testing, helping them bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications.
The experts also guided students on Quality Control, Production Management, Industrial Safety, Research & Innovation, Skill Development, Internship Opportunities, Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, Start-up Opportunities, and Career Prospects in the plastics and polymer industry.
The industrial visit significantly enhanced students’ technical knowledge, industrial exposure, problem-solving abilities, innovation skills, and professional confidence while providing a deeper understanding of contemporary industrial practices.
The faculty delegation was led by the Dean, Faculty of Science (Dean, Research & Innovation), accompanied by Assistant Professor Mr. Ayush Soni, Assistant Professor Ms. Sonal Jalachhatri, Assistant Professor Mr. Khemraj, Assistant Professor Mrs. Asha Pandey, and one additional faculty member.
