Shri Davara University proudly hosted the grand inauguration of Chhattisgarh’s first International 18-Hole Concrete Mini Golf Course along with the opening ceremony of the 11th Senior Mini Golf Championship on 26 June 2026.
The prestigious event commenced with traditional prayers led by the University’s respected Director General, CEO, and distinguished international officials. The championship was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb Ji, marking a historic milestone for sports development in the state.
The event witnessed the participation of players, coaches, referees, and sports officials representing various states across India. Throughout the championship, participants demonstrated remarkable skill, discipline, determination, and sportsmanship, making the event both competitive and inspiring.
During the evening session, Mr. Sudhakar Kohale, President of the Mini Golf Federation of India, visited the University campus and appreciated the international-standard Mini Golf facility established by Shri Davara University. He commended the University’s leadership for creating world-class sports infrastructure and encouraging young athletes to pursue excellence at national and international levels.
