Shri Davara University successfully organized a grand two-day cultural celebration, featuring ‘Jashn-e-Jindagi’ on the first day and the Annual Function ‘DU IGNITE’ on the second day. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members and guests, making it a memorable celebration of music, culture and student creativity.
The celebrations commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chinmoy Davara and Charmi Davara, symbolizing positivity, wisdom and new beginnings. The dignified inauguration set a graceful tone for the vibrant events that followed.
The first day, ‘Jashn-e-Jindagi’, was highlighted by a mesmerizing live concert by renowned singer Madhubanti Bagchi. She opened her performance with the powerful and divine rendition of “Aigiri Nandini”, filling the campus with spiritual energy and captivating the audience. She further enthralled the gathering with popular songs, including “Tum Na Ho”, showcasing her soulful voice and strong stage presence. The musical evening created an electrifying atmosphere, with students thoroughly enjoying the celebration.
The second day featured the university’s Annual Function, ‘DU IGNITE’, which served as a platform to showcase the immense talent and creativity of the students. One of the most impactful performances of the evening was the ‘Panchali Stuti’ dance drama, which impressed the audience with its expressive choreography, powerful storytelling and emotional depth.
In addition to this, the program included a variety of captivating performances such as an energetic Shiv Tandav, a melodious flute recital, lively Bollywood dance performances, and vibrant Chhattisgarhi folk dances that beautifully reflected regional culture and tradition. A well-curated fashion show further added charm to the evening, highlighting students’ confidence, creativity and contemporary presentation.
Throughout both days, the university campus remained filled with enthusiasm, cultural diversity and youthful energy. The seamless coordination of performances and active participation of students contributed significantly to the success of the event.
