ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) is a four-year undergraduate degree program that prepares students for managerial and operational roles in the hospitality and tourism industry. The program provides comprehensive training in core areas such as front office management, food and beverage service, food production, housekeeping operations, hospitality accounting, marketing, and human resource management.

The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training through laboratory sessions, industrial exposure, internships, and fieldwork. Emphasis is placed on service excellence, customer relationship management, communication skills, and professional ethics. Students are also introduced to contemporary trends such as sustainable hospitality practices, tourism management, event planning, and the use of technology in hotel operations.
