Shri Davara University celebrated its 3rd Founder’s Day with great enthusiasm, coinciding with the birthday celebration of Hon’ble Chancellor Smt. Preeti Davara. The event reflected the University’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, student-centric development, and quality higher education.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Registrar Shri Vipin Srivastava, followed by the felicitation of the Hon’ble Chancellor. Director General Dr. Charmi Davara highlighted the University’s remarkable progress in academics, research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration while emphasizing its vision of preparing students for future professional challenges.
During the celebration, CEO Shri Chinmoy Davara announced that scholarships worth ₹1.5 crore have been awarded under the Chancellor Scholarship Scheme, reaffirming the University’s commitment to providing accessible and inclusive education. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Varun Ganjir congratulated the university community on achieving the prestigious OBE Diamond Plus Band ranking, describing it as a significant milestone in the institution’s journey toward academic excellence.
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Chancellor Smt. Preeti Davara reiterated the University’s mission to nurture responsible, skilled, and socially conscious citizens. The event also featured vibrant cultural performances by students, creating a festive atmosphere, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Chancellor’s birthday.
