Shri Davara University Inaugurated Chhattisgarh’s First International 18-Hole Concrete Mini Golf Course and Successfully Hosted the Opening of the 11th Senior Mini Golf Championship
Shri Davara University proudly marked a historic milestone by inaugurating Chhattisgarh’s first International 18-Hole Concrete Mini Golf Course and successfully launching the 11th Senior Mini Golf Championship at its world-class sports campus on 26 June 2026. The prestigious event reflected the University’s unwavering commitment to promoting excellence in sports alongside academic education and holistic student development.
The grand ceremony commenced with traditional prayers and rituals performed by the University’s Hon’ble Director General, Hon’ble CEO, and distinguished international officials, symbolizing an auspicious beginning to this landmark sporting event.
The championship was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of the Government of Chhattisgarh, Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb Ji, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of players, coaches, technical officials, and sports representatives from various states across India, creating an atmosphere of excitement, pride, and true sportsmanship.
Addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb Ji appreciated the visionary leadership of Shri Davara University’s Hon’ble Director General and Hon’ble CEO for their continuous efforts in promoting sports along with quality education. Later in the evening, Mr. Sudhakar Kohale, President of the Mini Golf Federation of India, visited the University campus and inspected the newly developed international-standard Mini Golf Course. He highly appreciated the outstanding sports infrastructure developed by Shri Davara University and praised the visionary efforts of the Hon’ble CEO and Hon’ble Director General in promoting international-standard sporting facilities.
