*Students of Shri Davara University Secure First Place in Ideathon 4.0, Naya Raipur*
Shri Davara University, which has been setting new records despite being established only six months ago, has achieved a remarkable milestone at the international-level Ideathon 4.0 competition. The university’s team secured first place in the prestigious competition organized by Kalinga University, where teams from 48 renowned educational institutions across the country participated. The event also included prestigious institutions such as IITs and NITs, as well as international participants.
The winning team from Shri Davara University consisted of Muskan and Nikhil from MBA, Shivam from BBA-Hotel Management, and Ashish and Faizan from BSc Forensic Science. The team was mentored by Mr. Rajesh Ranjan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Management.
The team presented an innovative startup business idea called *Top Moringa, featuring their product **Morilk*, which is designed to improve the health of both children and adults. The idea captivated the jury and was declared the best business idea of the competition. IIT Hyderabad and another team shared the second-place position, while a team from Indonesia secured third place.
For their outstanding achievement, the winning team was awarded a cash prize of ₹25,000 along with a citation. This victory holds special significance as it marks the first time that students from Shri Davara University participated in a competition outside the university—and they emerged victorious on their very first attempt.
This accomplishment is set to inspire other students and further establish Shri Davara University’s reputation for excellence. University Director General Dr. Charmi Davara, Chief Executive Officer Shri Chinmay Davara, University Registrar Shri Kumar Shwetabh, Chief Controller of Examinations Dr. Varun Ganjeer, and Dean Dr. Manish Verma congratulated the winning team and encouraged all students to actively participate in upcoming competitions.
