ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry is a comprehensive postgraduate program designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in the major branches of chemistry, including organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry. The program focuses on understanding the composition, structure, properties, and transformations of matter at the molecular and atomic levels, forming a strong foundation for scientific research and industrial applications.

The curriculum includes in-depth study of chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, quantum chemistry, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, coordination chemistry, organic reaction mechanisms, and instrumental analysis. Students receive extensive hands-on laboratory training using modern analytical instruments such as UV-Visible spectroscopy, IR, NMR, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and electrochemical techniques.
