Committed to the all-round development of students, Shri Davara University is continuously making innovations in the fields of academic, cultural, social and sports relevant through the university. In this series, the students of the university are hoisting their flag in national and state sports competitions. The 35th West Zone Junior Athletics National Championship 2024 was held from October 4 to October 6 at Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj University Ground, Nagpur. In which Shri Davara University’s B.A. Rahul, a first year student, performed excellently and won the bronze medal in the Under 20 race by completing the 400 meter race in 51.07 seconds.
In the 21st State Athletics Championship competition, student Rahul won the bronze medal by completing the 400 meter race in 51.08 seconds. This competition was organized at Bahtari Athletics Stadium in Bilaspur from 13 to 15 September in which 50 participants from across the state participated. University Chief Executive Officer Mr. Chinmay Davara and Director General Dr. Charmi Davara appreciated the intellectual abilities of the students as well as their activeness in sports and cultural fields.
On this achievement of Rahul, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. R.B. Shukla, University Registrar Mr. Kumar Shwetabh, Chief Controller of Examinations Dr. Varun Ganjeer, Dean Dr. Manish Verma and professors of all departments expressed their congratulations.
