Naya Raipur, March 3, 2025 – The Chhattisgarh Forest Department organized a special workshop at IIIT, Naya Raipur, to celebrate World Wildlife Day. Students from various universities, including Shri Davara University, enthusiastically participated in the event.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and introduce students to innovative conservation methods. The program commenced at 10:30 AM and featured exciting competitions such as wildlife quizzes, painting, debates, speeches, and eco-reels.

Shri Davara University students showcased outstanding performances in these competitions. BCA student Sanam Kurre secured the first prize in the painting competition, winning a cash prize of ₹5000, while BCA student Deepesh secured the second prize in the debate competition, winning ₹3000. Additionally, another student from Shri Davara University won the third prize with a cash reward of ₹2000.

The painting competition highlighted the beauty of wildlife and the importance of conservation, while the debate and speech contests saw students presenting compelling arguments on wildlife preservation, leaving the audience deeply engaged.

The event, organized by the Forest Department, provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and inspired them to contribute to wildlife conservation. All participants will receive certificates, and the remaining winners’ names will be announced tomorrow.
