Shri Davara University Becomes the First Private University in the State to Offer Horse Riding Training
Naya Raipur || On December 3, 2024, Shri Davara University made history by becoming the first private university in the state to introduce free horse riding training for students, professors, and staff. The training program was inaugurated by the Director General of the University, Dr. Charmi Davara, who was also the chief guest of the event.
This initiative aims to promote both physical and mental well-being. Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. Charmi Davara stated, “Horse riding is not just a sport; it is a means of developing discipline, patience, and self-confidence. Shri Davara University has always been committed to the holistic development of students.”
By introducing horse riding, Shri Davara University has taken a significant step in enhancing sports and personality development on campus. This initiative is expected to set a new benchmark in student engagement and overall growth.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the Honorary Director Shri Tulsidas Sanghani, University Director Mrs. Anjali Yadav, Registrar Shri Kumar Shwetabh, Chief Controller of Examinations Dr. Varun Ganjir, Dean Dr. Manish Verma, along with professors and students from various departments.
On this occasion, the Registrar, professors, and students expressed their gratitude to University Founder Shri Chinmay Davara and Dr. Charmi Davara for introducing horse riding training as a valuable addition to the university’s facilities.
