Raipur, 10 June 2025 — It was a day of immense pride for the students of Raipur who achieved more than 70% marks in their board examinations. In recognition of their academic excellence, Shri Davara University, in collaboration with My FM, organized the City Topper Felicitation Ceremony. The grand event was held in Raipur and was graced by several dignitaries from the education sector and administration.

The chief guest of the event was the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Arun Sao, who addressed the gathering by stating, “The youth of Chhattisgarh today is not only educated but also hardworking, disciplined, and ambitious. This ceremony is a commendable initiative that not only acknowledges students’ efforts but also inspires them to take on future challenges with confidence.”

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Chinmoy Davara, Chief Executive Officer of Shri Davara University, said, “This recognition is not merely about marks, but about the dedication, perseverance, and continuous efforts of students. Our aim at Shri Davara University is to empower students with not only academic excellence but also with the right resources and guidance to succeed in all spheres of life.” He also announced the launch of upcoming scholarship schemes, career guidance sessions, and innovation programs to help students shape their careers with purpose and vision.

Dr. Charmi Davara, Director General of the University, in her inspiring address, said that every student possesses a unique talent, and it is the collective responsibility of society to identify and nurture it. She emphasized that the purpose of education should not be limited to achieving marks but should also focus on holistic development — including moral values, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills. Expressing her gratitude to parents and teachers, she acknowledged their continuous support behind every student’s success. She encouraged students to make decisions in life based on wisdom rather than fear and to move ahead with confidence.

Renowned artist and Padma Shri awardee Shri Anuj Sharma also addressed the students. He stated, “A balance between creativity and education is the need of the hour. Good marks alone are not enough — thoughtfulness, sensitivity, and self-discipline are the true foundations of a successful life.” He urged students to embrace art, culture, and creative expression as essential components of their education.

Hundreds of students were felicitated with trophies and certificates of appreciation during the event. Their parents and teachers also appreciated the initiative, calling it a source of motivation and inspiration.

This joint initiative by Shri Davara University and My FM not only boosted the morale of students but also set a new benchmark for promoting academic culture in Raipur. Events like these play a pivotal role in fostering a positive societal outlook toward education.
