Shri Davara University witnessed a vibrant start to the Gyan Vinayak Mahotsav today. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha was installed in the campus cafeteria and shed area. The celebration began with traditional rituals, prayers, and a graceful Vandana Nritya performance by the students, filling the entire campus with devotion and enthusiasm.

The festival will be celebrated from 27th August to 6th September 2025. During these 11 days, a variety of cultural and creative competitions such as speeches, essay writing, painting, quiz, mehndi, matka phod, fashion show, bhajan, and kirtan will be organized. The event will conclude with the grand Ganesh Visarjan ceremony.

The university administration has invited students to actively participate in the competitions by registering their names with their respective class coordinators by Monday.

The very first day of the celebration reflected the spirit of togetherness, joy, and devotion, as chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” echoed across the campus.
